Day 1 : Out-bound International Flight / Nairobi

Departure of your international flight and arrival in Nairobi. Warm welcome by your driver / guide. Then transfer to your hotel, comfortable and well equipped, ideal place to rest before beginning your fantastic Kenyan adventure . Nairobi is Kenya’s capital city. In addition to its urban core, the city has Nairobi National Park, a large game reserve known for breeding endangered black rhinos and home to giraffes, zebras and lions. Next to it is a well-regarded elephant orphanage operated by the David Sheldrick Wildlife Trust, the Karen Blixen Museum and the Giraffe Center. Nairobi is also often used as a jumping-off point for safari trips elsewhere in Kenya.

Day 2 : Nairobi / Amboseli

Breakfast, then drive to the Amboseli Natinal Park. Start your safari. Check-in and lunch at the Amboseli Sopa Lodge , at the foot of Kilimanjaro (5895 meters), is one of the most beautiful parks of Kenya. Made famous by Hemingway and his novel “The Snows of Kilimanjaro”, the park offers beautiful scenery with its vast marshy plains fed by the snows of Kilimanjaro and exceptional wildlife, easily visible are: elephants, lions, wildebeests, zebras, antelopes, hippos or buffalo. Then in the afternoon safari in the park and return to the lodge by nightfall.

Day 3 : Amboseli

Breakfast. Full day safari in the reserve. Enjoy breathtaking views of the legendary Mount Kilimanjaro at dawn. Meet the animals of the park: elephants, wildebeest, zebras and gazelles and amazing spectacle offered by Savannah. Lunch at the lodge or picnic lunch in the bush.. Visit a Masai village within the park boundary. An enriching cultural encounter and surprise not to be missed. The Masai people are found mainly in animal parks and are semi-nomadic. They keep their cultural traditions while taking part in the economic, social and political forces in their regions. Life revolves around Masai livestock and cultural traditions of their own. Safari until sunset to watch the Kilimanjaro at nightfall. Back at the lodge at late afternoon to enjoy the last views of Kilimanjaro before sunset.

Day 4 : Amboseli / Naivasha

Breakfast and morning game drive in the park. Enjoy the dawn of a breathtaking view of the legendary Kilimanjaro and imposing icecap. Meet the animals of the park: elephants, wildebeest, zebras and gazelles. Then departure for the discovery of Lake Naivasha, a territory for hippos and birds. Check-in and lunch at Naivasha Sopa Lodge . After lunch you will board a motorized canoe to reach the Crescent Island peninsula, where you can observe large fishing scenes with the osprey. The lake and the island is a sanctuary for birds and home to hundreds of species, including ibis, herons and weavers. The lake is surrounded by rich vegetation – acacia forests – where many species of birds come to nest. You can make an amazing hiking on the island where you will see wildebeest, gazelles, zebras, giraffes, warthogs and thousands of birds and discover hundreds of hippos in the lake.

Day 5 : Naivasha / Sweetwaters

Breakfast and drive to the private reserve of Sweetwaters. Safari totally isolated from the rest of the world. Dominated by the summit of Mount Kenya, the park covers 715km2. Mount Kenya whose name means “ostrich mountain” is an ancient volcano which is the culmination of Kenya. Hiking enthusiasts can choose from a dozen trails. Thanks to its altitude and isolation, Mount Kenya has an endemic flora, both alpine and tropical. We discover a rich and varied wildlife: elephants, buffaloes, several species of monkeys and the most common animal, the hyrax. Lunch at Sweet Waters Tented Camp. Safari and walking tour of a sanctuary sheltering forty chimpanzees. Safari Continuation until nightfall.

Day 6 : Sweetwaters / Samburu

Breakfast. Depart for Samburu National Reserve, one of the finest reserves in Kenya. This reserve is in the Rift Valley, near the river Ewaso Ng’iro which is occupied by various kinds of acacias that give this region a luxuriant vegetation. It is also an opportunity to discover rare animal species such as Grevy’s zebra, the giraffe antelope or North African ostrich, in addition to elephants that live in large numbers within the reserve. Check-in and lunch at Samburu Sopa Lodge. Safari until sunset: discover the wildlife and African landscapes in the heart of Samburu.

Day 7 : Samburu

Breakfast. Safari in Samburu Reserve, where you can see various animal species such as impala, waterbuck, Burchell’s zebra, gazelle Grant, buffalo and mountain ranges. The landscapes of Samburu leave you with many happy memories. Lunch at your lodge. Then continue your safari in the afternoon during which you will come to meet local people, and sometimes watch savannah animals in their natural environment. Back to Sopa Lodge at the end of your safari.

Day 8 : Samburu / Nakuru

Breakfast, departure to Lake Nakuru. Check-in and lunch at Flamingo Hill Camp. By early afternoon, go on an adventure and watch the rare wildlife of Lake Nakuru. Located 2000m above sea level in the heart of the Rift Valley, the lake is the crater of an ancient volcano. The peculiarity of the lake is the presence of saline water that attracts many birds in particular thousands of flamingos, whose flight is a wonderful sight. You will also have the chance to watch the famous white and black rhinos, endangered and successfully reintroduced a few years ago in the park. Back to the lodge from your safari at nightfall.

Day 9 : Nakuru / Masai Mara

Breakfast and drive to the Masai Mara reserve, one of the most famous reserves in the world. It owes its reputation to the beautiful scenery, its vastness and its abundant wildlife and takes its name from the tribe living there, the Masai, and the river that runs through it, Mara. The Masai people are found mainly in animal parks and are semi-nomadic. They keep their cultural traditions while taking part in the economic, social and political forces in their regions. Life revolves around Maasai livestock and cultural traditions of their own. Check-in and lunch at Fig Tree Camp. Afternoon dedicated to the safari and meeting with the animals: lions, cheetahs, hyenas, leopards , all predators are easily seen in the heart of the savannah of the park. Back to the camp by the end of the day.

Day 10 : Masai Mara

Breakfast along a river where there are a large number of hippos. An unforgettable breakfast that will delight young and old enjoying the sunrise and the awakening of the savannah and the many hippos that are almost found at your feet. The revival of a unique and unforgettable Kenyan park. Day entirely dedicated to the safari to allow you to fully enjoy the impressive spectacle of vast herds of wildebeest, zebras, lions, hippos, elephants, giraffes and antelopes found in the reserve. Lunch at camp or picnic in the bush. Safari continuation where you can linger in the surrounding countryside, where you can go meet wild animals and their environment. Optional possibility of a balloon safari (€ 395) for a magical flight over the Masai Mara.

Day 11 : Masai Mara / Nairobi / Departure

Morning game drive. Back for breakfast. Then drive towards Nairobi, en route picnic. Then in the late afternoon departure for your destination.
