8 Days Kenya Safari tour itinerary

Day 1 : Mombasa / Diani Beach

Arrival of your international flight in Mombasa Kenya. Met by our representative and transferred to your hotel. Free afternoon at the hotel to relax and enjoy some local hotel activities.

Day 2 : Diani Beach

is a major beach resort on the Indian Ocean coast of Kenya. It is located 30 kilometres south of Mombasa, in the nearby Kwale County. The beach is about 10 kilometres long, from the Kongo river to the north and Galu beach to the south. The pearly-white sands blend into the turquoise warm waters of the Indian Ocean creating a perfect backdrop of tranquility for a truly memorable African Holiday. The large tidal movement on Diani Beach creates a width of up 200m of white sand at low tide. The strong coastal winds and low tides provide excellent Kite and Windsurfing conditions for all levels. Those who wish to dive will be spoilt for choice. The stunning coral reef and huge marine life, serve up over 25 world class dive sites to explore, including a purpose sunk plane wreck. Snorkeling trips can also be organized along with dolphin and whale shark spotting aboard a local Dhow.

Day 3 : Diani Beach

Breakfast. lazy day beside the Indian Ocean or the pool where you can relax your feet in the water. Lunch and free afternoon. Numerous possibilities for excursions from your hotel: quad hiking on area trails, visit Mombasa and its spice market, diving Wasini in a transparent and warm water or a day on the beautiful island of Funzi which is known for its pristine beaches and wide variety of sea turtles.

Day 4 : Diani Beach / Tsavo East

Breakfast. Depart for Tsavo East park where you make a safari until lunch. Discovery of a succession of landscapes typical of the region such as grassland, rocky volcanic escarpments of water and marshy areas points, gallery forests and rolling hills. Arrival at Sentrim Camp. Lunch at the camp. Sentrim Tsavo Camp is has nice tents furnished with carved wooden beds facing the river with bathroom and separate toilet and a private terrace with sunbeds. This fully integrated lodge in the heart of nature you will enjoy an authentic and charming. Back on safari until dusk and discovered fauna of Tsavo. Through this park you will have the opportunity to discover a rich and diverse wildlife: lions, antelopes, rhinos, buffalo, warthogs and many species of birds will cross your path. It is also in this park that you will have the chance to meet Grevy’s zebra, Somalian Ostrich but especially the famous herds of red elephants are so called due to their particular color, linked to the ocher park. Then return to the lodge by sunset.

Day 5 : Tsavo East / Diani Beach

Depart at sunrise for you to observe a multitude of animals such as cheetahs, leopards and lions through the beautiful hilly landscape of the park. Return to the lodge for breakfast and then leave for safari through the vastness of Tsavo park. Lunch at Sentrim Tsavo Camp ***. Resting or watching animals come to drink in the river bordering the camp. After lunch, drive to Diani.
You will have the opportunity to visit a Maasai village on the road. An enriching cultural encounter, surprising and above all authentic not to be missed. Day 7 : Diani Beach

Breakfast and free morning. Free lunch. Enjoy the beautiful white sand beaches shaded by coconut palms and conducive to relaxation, the hotel pool or the many optional activities: jacuzzi, gym, canoeing, diving, sailing or fishing.

Day 8 : Diani Beach

Breakfast and free morning. Free lunch. Free day at the hotel or excursions from your hotel: quad trekking on the slopes of the region, visit Mombasa and its spice market, diving Wasini in a transparent and warm water or a day on the beautiful island Funzi which is known for its pristine beaches and wide variety of sea turtles.

Day 9 : Diani Beach / Mombasa / Airport

Breakfast and free morning at the hotel. In the afternoon transfer to Mombasa airport according to your flight schedule, flight take-off to your destination. Overnight in flight.
