Early breakfast and departure from your hotel to the Shimoni town where you will board your dhow across Wasini Island. Shimoni is a port village and tourist destination in southeastern Kenya near the border with Tanzania and directly across from Wasini Island. This small town is known for its British colonial ruins and slave caves which are the focus of attraction for several community-based projects You will sail on a DHOW (Arabic style boat) to the beautiful Coral Reef of Kisite Marine National Park. The crew will welcome you on board and then you will be briefed on the course of the day. The equipment needed to go diving and snorkeling as well as life jackets are available. Our marine guides will accompany you to search for dolphins and then along the coral reef to show you the colorful corals and interesting tropical fish. Drinks and small cakes will be served on the boat to refresh after swimming. Enjoy this day in the Kisite Marine Parkin a unique and personalized way, with a small group of participants, comfort and safety! The return to Wasini Island will be under sail, if there is enough wind of-course. the rhythm and songs of our crew. On the Wasini island awaits a sumptuous lunch of local specialties prepared in the Swahili way. Then you may visit a typical village. Back to Diani by late afternoon to enjoy the last hours at the beach before sunset.
